Franklinton District and Land-Grant Brewery Social

Franklinton

The Scioto River and its acres of trails and parklands separate downtown from Frankliton to the west. Franklinton, first settled in 1797, is experiencing a renaissance as a new center for the city's maker culture and independent art scene. Arts collectives like 400 West Rich Street, the Columbus Idea Foundary and Glass Axis are open to visit, and often host late-night events in their industrial spaces. Dining options veer toward the casual, with Strongwater Food and Spirits, the brand new BrewDog Franklington and Land-Grant Brewing Company leading the way. COSI, on of the nation's top science museums, graces the west bank of the Scioto, and across Broad Street is the new National Veterans Memorial and Museum- Experience Columbus.
